Cookie Policy
Last Updated: October 9, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Thinking Systems, LLC ("we," "us," "our"), which operates BorderlessKit, uses on borderlesskit.com (the "Site"), what they do and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels, which send a request to a third party when a page loads, and local storage, which keeps small values in your browser.
What We Use
Strictly necessary
- __Secure-borderlesskit.session_token (BorderlessKit): keeps you signed in to the application area under /apply for up to seven days. It is set after you use a sign-in link, cannot be read by page scripts, is sent only over HTTPS, and is removed when you sign out.
Analytics
- Rybbit: our analytics tool, served from a.kuan.sh. It records pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, approximate location and when a call is booked, and may record the campaign tags in the link. It does not set cookies and does not record your screen or what you type.
Advertising
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms): tells Meta when you view a page and when you book a call, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. It sets the first-party cookies _fbp (about 90 days) and, if you arrive from a Meta ad, _fbc (about 90 days). Meta may combine this with information it holds about you under its own privacy policy. The Pixel is not loaded in the application area under /apply.
The Meta Pixel is on by default, except for visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: there it stays off unless you turn it on. It also stays off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Use “Ad measurement” at the bottom of any page to turn it on or off; turning it off removes Meta’s cookies from this Site. We never send your name, email or booking answers to Meta.
Embedded services
- Cal.com: the booking calendar on our scheduling page is provided by Cal.com and may set its own cookies inside the calendar. See Cal.com's privacy policy.
- Payments: if you pay through Stripe, Stripe may set cookies on its checkout pages for security and fraud prevention.
Local storage
- borderlesskit:admin-return: used only when BorderlessKit staff open a case link while signed out, so the link still works after the emailed sign-in. It is deleted as soon as it's used.
- borderlesskit:meta-consent:v1: remembers whether you turned ad measurement on or off. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
How Can You Control Cookies?
Use “Ad measurement” at the bottom of any page to turn the Meta Pixel on or off. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the BorderlessKit session cookie will prevent you from signing in to the application area; blocking other cookies does not affect the rest of the Site.
You can also manage how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook ad preferences, or opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when the tools we use change, and revise the date above.
